2010 TEAM WEST ROSTER ANNOUNCED

Hockey Manitoba and the Saskatchewan Hockey Association are proud to announce the members for Team West who will be competing in the Under-17 World Hockey Challenge in Timmins, Ontario from December 29, 2009 to January 4, 2010.

MEGHAN DUFAULT NAMED 2009 U18 MVP

Meghan Dufault has been named as the 2009 National Women's U18 Championships Most Valuable Player. Team Manitoba finishes in 4th place after a 2-1 loss to Quebec in the Bronze Medal Game.

DODGE CARAVAN KIDS SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

U16 TEAM MANITOBA COMES HOME WITH SILVER

Team Manitoba fell 6-4 to Alberta in the Gold Medal game at the inaugural Western Canada U16 Challenge in Blackfalds, AB. Reid Gow (Killarney) and Brendan Leipsic (Winnipeg) were named to the tournament all-star team.

WINNIPEG TO HOST WORLD U-17'S 2011 & 2012

Hockey Canada, in partnership with Hockey Manitoba, announced that the City of Winnipeg will play host to the World U-17 Hockey Challenge in both 2011 and 2012. This prestige event will be hosted at the new Moosplex currently being built and to be completed in the fall of 2010.
